For over 30 years, Richard Charbit has been involved in the filmmaking business through his company, Great Entertainment, Inc., of Beverly Hills. The chief executive officer, Charbit also serves as executive producer of many of the company’s films. Movies produced by Great Entertainment include the feature-length horror film Fatal Pulse and the how-to video series Emergency Urgency, as well as various comedy videos. In addition to his work with Great Entertainment, Richard Charbit served as a financial consultant for the international carrier Baltia Airlines for more than five years. Prior to starting with Great Entertainment, he studied medicine, law, and economics in Paris.
During his spare time, Charbit enjoys keeping up with the latest in entertainment industry news. Additionally, he watches classic films such as Oliver Stone’s Platoon, Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver, Milos Foreman’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita. Fond of classical music, Richard Charbit considers Beethoven, Mozart, and Mahler among his favorite artists. Reading is another of his hobbies, and he gravitates toward Machiavelli’s The Prince, Tolstoy’s War and Peace, and Sun Tzu’s The Art of War.
